Kylie Padilla on discoveries in her 30s: 'Mas ino-own mo na ‘yung sarili mo'
Kylie Padilla is prioritizing being healthier and stronger now that she's 32.
In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Kylie said that this is because of her two kids, Alas and Axl.
“Siyempre, haba pa ng buhay nila. Kailangan ako din, ‘di ba? Tsaka ini-imagine ko pa ‘yung ‘pag nagkaanak na sila, siyempre kailangan malakas pa rin ako bilang lola,” she said.
Kylie also continues to discover herself more as she goes through her 30s.
“Totoo pala ‘yun na ‘pag nag-30 ka na, wala ka nang paki dun sa mga maliliit na bagay. You find yourself more in your 30s, and you’re more ano—parang mas ino-own mo na ‘yung sarili mo when you’re 30,” she said.
Kylie recently celebrated her 32nd birthday with snake-themed photos.
“Kasi ang unang pasok sa ‘kin ng Year of the Snake, may nagsabi lang na, ‘Oh, Year of the Snake, mag-ingat sa mga ahas.’ Sabi ko ang negative naman. ‘Di ba ang ibig sabihin ng snake, transformation into a new you, parang ‘yun ang gusto kong sabihin sa post, sa mga picture na ‘yun,” she said.
The Sparkle star also teased that she has an upcoming series.
“I’m really grateful kasi siyempre ang babae after manganak nag-aalala ka eh na baka ‘di ba I'm past the ano. But, you know, GMA is very kind to me, and they trust me, so I’m really grateful talaga,” she said.
Kylie was part of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 Best Picture, “Green Bones.”
