Is there competition between BINI and SB19? Nation's Girl Group answers
BINI guested on Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," where the Nation's Girl Group shared about how they deal with competition in the music industry and whether there is competition between them and the P-Pop Kings, SB19.
According to Mikha, they handle competition in "a healthy way."
"We take the competition and we use that as motivation for us to do even better, but we don't want to bring them down through that competition, you know," she said.
She also hoped for the success of OPM as a whole and not just BINI.
"For the other groups or different artists, we really want to support them. We support OPM and we hope that OPM rises altogether, not just us."
Stacey, meanwhile, was asked by Tito Boy whether there is competition between BINI and SB19, to which she answered in the negative.
"Talagang sine-celebrate po amin 'yung pag-angat ng OPM together," she added.
In August 2024, SB19 guested on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" where they expressed their pride for BINI's success and their joy that P-pop is now getting popular.
SB19's leader, Pablo, added that Filipino artists should band together and help each other in promoting each other's music.
During Friday's episode, BINI also responded to various criticisms and praised Michael V.'s parody of "Salamin, Salamin" on "Bubble Gang." Maloi likewise cleared up the rumors that she is dating Rico Blanco.
BINI will hold their "Grand BINIverse: The Repeat" concert on February 15 at the Philippine Arena. The show is part of the girl group's upcoming world tour, which will have stops in Singapore, Dubai, London, and the United States, among others.
