BINI's Maloi clears up dating rumors with Rico Blanco

BINI's Maloi cleared up the rumors that she is dating Rico Blanco during the Nation's Girl Group's guesting on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Friday.
Each of the girls were asked by Tito Boy to address different criticisms and issues, with the King of Talk asking Maloi how she addresses fake news.
Per Maloi, fake news will never go away for public figures.
"May mga tao talaga na gagawa at gagawa ng fake news about you and feeling ko it just shows na you are relevant. You just go with your life, just do what you do, just do what you love," she said.
"As long as wala kang natatapakang tao. 'Yung fake news, nandiyan na 'yan eh, so parang masabi ko lang, stop spreading fake news this 2025. Stop it."
Tito Boy then asked her about the last fake news that had been said or written about her, prompting her to answer, "Siguro po 'yung recently that Rico Blanco and I are dating."
She then took the opportunity to address the rumors that sparked early this January after she was spotted with the OPM singer in La Union.

At the time, Rico hosted Maloi, Ben&Ben's Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma, singer-songwriter Ischi, Over October’s Joshua Caleb Lua, Blaster Silonga, Zild Benitez, and lifestyle photographer Shaira Luna in his new hotel, Motel Mambo, in the coastal province.
According to Maloi, that was actually the first time that she met up with Rico because they have mutual friends.
"Hindi ko alam paano nangyari 'yun. Siguro may videos 'yung Blooms na in-upload sa X and then na-crop siya, screenshot na parang bad angle, so it just shows na parang nag-holding hands, in-upload sa Facebook, kumalat hanggang sa nagkaroon na ng mga headlines," she shared.
She added that she refuted the misleading information the moment she saw it online.
"Nung nakita ko 'yun, nag-tweet po agad ako na 'Stop spreading fake news' kasi ayoko na lumaki pa 'yung gulo and gusto ko na linawin agad," she said.
BINI is gearing up for their "Grand BINIverse: The Repeat" concert on February 15 at the Philippine Arena. The show is part of the girl group's upcoming world tour, which will have stops in Singapore, Dubai, London, and the United States, among others.
