Nobody does it like Felip!
The solo artist and SB19 member flexed his hip-hop skills at the D.U.N.K. showcase in Yokohama, Japan.
Felip was part of a special collaboration performance of the new song “ID” by Japanese rapper and producer SKY-HI. He was the only Filipino artist and was featured alongside Ryoki of BE:FIRST, Ryuki of Mazzel, Jimmy of Psychic Fever, Juri Tanaka of SixTONES, and Nicholas of &Team.
As seen in the performance video, Felip’s verse was in the middle of the song and he rapped in both English and Bisaya about people not being on his level.
On Wednesday morning, “#ID_PerformanceVid_FELIP” and “ID RAP SHOWCASE” were among the trending topics on X (formerly Twitter).
In a post on X, Felip said that performing in the showcase was an honor. “The show was really massive and one of the biggest stages I've performed in," he said.
Felip launched his solo career in 2023 with the debut EP "COMPLEX," which includes the tracks "ROCKSTA," "CRIMINAL," and "DRINKSMOKE."
In 2024, he dropped his solo album “7sins,” which includes the tracks “Envy,” “Greed,” and “Ache.”
FELIP had a concert in July at Space at One Ayala in Makati City to celebrate the album.
FELIP also brought the “7Sins” experience to Japan with an album signing and concert. The Japan version of the “7Sins” album also exclusively included a physical CD, merchandise, content, and a bonus track called “Tokyo.”
