R’Bonney Gabriel shares lessons learned from Miss Universe, marking two years since her win
It's been two years since R’Bonney Gabriel won the Miss Universe title and on her Instagram, she marked the anniversary by sharing some of the lessons she learned from it.
Sharing snaps from her crowning moment, the Filipino-American beauty queen and fashion designer began by saying “Can't believe this was 2 years ago today.”
"I learned so much through Miss Universe and the lessons continue to unfold everyday. Its never to late to start something new, find your unique gift to contribute to the world, and its up to you to write your own story," R'Bonney said, as she expressed gratitude to end her post.
R’Bonney made history as the first Filipino-American to win the prestigious beauty pageant. She has a Filipino father and American mother, and represented Texas in the Miss USA pageant.
She has been staying in the Philippines since 2024 for various work engagements including modeling, hosting, and guestings.
Along the way, R’Bonney has also been getting in touch with her Filipino roots and has been sharing her adventures like plant shopping in Cartimar, been spending time in her “favorite place” or her dad’s childhood home in Malate, Manila, and skipping traffic onboard a motorcycle service.
In August 2024, she launched her latest collection at Bench Fashion Week.
