Bea Binene graduates from culinary school: ‘It definitely was not an easy journey’
Bea Binene is now a culinary school graduate!
On Instagram, the actress shared her graduation picture, alongside some photos from her graduation ceremony after completing her Pro-Culinary Asian Studies at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS).
In her post, Bea reflected on her culinary school journey that took nearly five years to finish.
“I started in 2019, I used to go straight to class from taping, then pandemic happened, then went back to school, then graduated with my batch mates but I still continued to do make-up classes and OJT,” she wrote.
“Almost 5 years when it was just a 1-year course.. sabi ko nga, pa-masters na to kasi 'di pa ako tapos. It definitely was not an easy journey,” Bea shared.
Looking back on her experience of juggling work, business, and school Bea realized that you won’t endure the hardship if you don’t like what you are doing.
“Oo mahirap, but it is also a fun and memorable ride. Not only did I learned a lot but also gained new friends and had a really good time,” she added.
She then expressed her gratitude to the Lord, as well as to her school, family, batchmates and to all the people who supported her in her culinary school journey.
"I won't be able to do this without you, our Lord. Thank you for bringing me to where I am today. All these because of You,” Bea said. “Here's to discovering more flavors of life. To trying recipes and creating dishes. To that pinch or a dash of spice that will make life more colorful, delicious and worthwhile.”
Bea didn’t just finish her culinary school, but she did it with excellence, taking home a gold medal and two special awards.
In the comment section, fellow celebrities such as Barbie Forteza and Yasmien Kurdi sent in their congratulations to the comment section.
Apart from Bea, Judy Ann Santos is also among the batch of graduates of CACS this year.
