Shaira Diaz gives update on wedding preparations with EA Guzman

Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman will tie the knot in 2025, the actress confirmed on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Wednesday.

According to the “Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan” actress, wedding preparations are already underway. They plan to wed in an intimate church ceremony somewhere in Silang, Cavite, with Shaira planning to buy her wedding gown in South Korea.

“Bibilin ko sa Korea, kasi sobrang love ko ‘yung Korea, ‘yung culture nila,” she said. “Mahilig ako sa K-drama, K-pop, BTS, so gusto ko lagyan ng something very personal sa’kin,” she added.

Shaira shared their wedding entourage includes Arra San Agustin, Kaloy Tingcungco, Anjo Pertierra, and Julia Montes, among others.

“’Yung mga naka-witness ng love story namin from the very start, nandiyan po sila,” she said.

When asked if there is any pressure regarding wedding preparations, Shaira said there’s no stress at all with EA.

"Hinahayaan niya lang ako. Kung may idea ako na gusto ko makita sa wedding namin, pinapakita ko and nag-ye-yes lang siya," she said.

“’Yung kasal is for the bride talaga eh, so binibigay niya sa 'kin ‘yun, walang away, walang pressure, walang stress,” she said.

Shaira and EA got engaged in 2021. The couple has been together for 11 years.

They’ve been preparing for their wedding since last year.

Shaira is set to reprise her role as Elsie in “Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan.” It will air on GMA Prime beginning on January 20.
