Does Ruru Madrid feel any more pressure in his acting career?

Ruru Madrid is undeniably one of GMA Network's most bankable actors.

The Primetime Action Hero ended 2024 with a Best Supporting Actor award for "Green Bones" and welcomed 2025 anticipating the return of "Lolong" on GMA Prime.

With all the success surrounding his name, does Ruru feel any more pressure in his acting career?

In Monday’s media conference for “Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan,” the lead star said the pressure never goes away in his work, and that he wouldn’t change a thing.

“So, dapat laging kasama ‘yun [pressure] sa bawat proyekto.”

For the second season of "Lolong," Ruru promised more action-packed scenes.

"Lolong" was hailed as "Best Primetime Serye" at the Gawad Pilipino Icon of the Year 2022 and was the Philippines' National Winner for Best Visual/Special Effects at the 2022 Asian Academy Creative Awards.

"Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan" will air on GMA Prime on January 20.
