Klea Pineda excited on action scenes in ‘Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan:’ ‘Pangarap ko talaga’

Among Klea Pineda’s dreams is to become an action star.

In Monday’s media conference of “Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan,” the Kapuso actress said she has been excited about the action scenes of the upcoming show.

“First action role ko ito eh, and pangarap ko talaga magkaroon ng action role sa show business, sa craft na ‘ito,” Klea said.

“Kaya maraming salamat to GMA Public Affairs for giving me this opportunity para maipakita ko ‘yung side na pagiging ma-action ni Klea Pineda,” she added.

Klea also said the success of the first season of “Lolong” was clearly due to the cast and production staff’s harmonious relationship on set.

“Napakagaan sa set,” she said. “Wala ka ma-fi-feel na kahit anong pressure, talagang pamilya ang trato nila sa isa’t-isa.”

Earlier, Klea gave a first look at her character Laya for “Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan” on social media.

She also shared her preparations for the role, such as training for fight scenes.

Along with Klea, present during the media conference of "Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan" were lead star Ruru Madrid and the rest of the cast, including John Arcilla, Jean Garcia, Shaira Diaz, Paul Salas, and Rochelle Pangilinan, to name a few.

“Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan” will premiere on GMA Prime on January 20.
