Lovi Poe grieves over California wildfires: 'It's tough seeing so much loss'

Lovi Poe took to Instagram to share an update as wildfires continue to rip across California.

The actress posted clips of several helicopters flying over Los Angeles.

“The fires have hit LA hard, and it’s tough seeing so much loss,” she said.

“I’ve been watching the sky and hearing helicopters flying back and forth… In times of devastation, like the one we’re witnessing, it’s hard to find the right words,” she added.

The actress said that the future will be a challenge, but that “the community is coming together—helping, supporting, and showing up for one another.”

“It’s a reminder that even in the hardest times, we’re never alone. Even in the darkest times, the city will rebuild and shine again, stronger than before,” she said.

Lovi’s fans and colleagues commented their messages of love.

“Hi Lovi. Was wondering how you’re doing. Glad to see you are safe. Keep strong. Sending love and light your way,” Pinky Amador said.

“Big hug babe!!! I messaged you to check on you also. Take care Lovi. Love you!!” socialite and Status by Sparkle member Cat Arambulo-Antonio said.

The California wildfires have killed at least 24 individuals and forced 100,000 people to evacuate. Over 150 Filipinos have sought help after losing their homes.

It also reportedly destroyed over 12,000 structures, including the homes of Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore, and other rich and famous personalities.
