'Unang Hirit' hosts, then and now, get together
The “Unang Hirit” Barkada, then and now, just got together!
As seen in Lyn Ching’s Instagram post, the hosts of the country’s longest-running morning show gathered for food and drinks.
Among the attendees were Drew Arellano, Rhea Santos, Arnold Clavio, Suzi Entrata-Abrera, Lhar Santiago, and Susan Enriquez, Mariz Umali, Raffy Tima, Ivan Mayrina, Connie Sison, Luzia Dy, and Atty. Gaby Concepcion.
New “Unang Hirit” hosts and rising artists Shuvee Entrata, Kim Perez, Sean Lucas, Cheska Fausto, and Jenzel Angeles were also part of the gathering.
Lyn said in her caption that their party was, “One for the books!”
“Ang sarap kasama mga taong luma at taong bago,” she said with a laughing emoji.
“Seriously though, ang saya lang when we’re together, like no time has passed,” she added.
Lyn also hopes that their next gathering will have a more complete group.
Rhea commented, “Nakaka-miss kayo. Ang saya!!! Thanks for hosting @lynching7. Mula noon hanggang ngayon, solid pa rin ang samahan. Labyu all.”
Pia Arcangel was unable to attend but left this comment, “Aww fun!! Sayang I missed seeing all the lumang tao.”
“Unang Hirit” marked its 25th anniversary in December 2024.
They celebrated with exciting on-ground activities, massive giveaways, and public service initiatives that embody the heart of “Unang Hirit.”
“Unang Hirit” unveiled a newly arranged version of its iconic theme performed live by Jose Mari Chan alongside Zephanie and Mark Bautista. The Sexbomb Dancers also reunited for a special performance on National "Unang Hirit" Day.
