Bruce Roeland addresses viral 'bungguan' moment with Miguel Tanfelix

Bruce Roeland on Friday addressed an onstage moment with Miguel Tanfelix that went viral recently.

During the “Mga Batang Riles” media conference held in December, fans noticed that Bruce bumped Miguel’s back, and wondered if their on-screen rivalry was brought to real life.

The actor was asked about the clip on “Unang Hirit” on Friday.

“Siguro, sabihin ko nalang—depende nalang sa mga viewers,” Bruce said.

“Depende nalang sa mga viewers kung anong mga gusto nilang isipin, kung totoo o hindi. ‘Yun ‘yung sasabihin ko,” he added.

In “Mga Batang Riles,” Miguel plays Kidlat who lives in the railways, and Bruce plays Matos who is from the wealthy Victor family.

In the first week of the action-drama series, Matos visits the railway community to escape family conflicts. There, he meets Kidlat and his friends.

Bruce teases that there is more to come regarding his character and relationship with the Batang Riles.

“Mga Batang Riles” premiered this week on GMA Prime and has already received rave reviews.
