Rico Blanco hosts BINI's Maloi, Ben&Ben's Pat and Agnes, more OPM stars in new La Union hotel

Rico Blanco invited several of today’s top Filipino artists at Motel Mambo, his new business venture in La Union.

A group picture posted on Rico’s Instagram page showed BINI’s Maloi, Ben&Ben’s Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma, singer-songwriter Ischi, Over October’s Joshua Caleb Lua, Blaster Silonga, Zild Benitez, and lifestyle photographer Shaira Luna, posing in one of the hotel’s rooms and spending time by the ocean.

Rico called them “Mambo Cuties.”

“Such a joy and honour to host Pinoy music royalty in Motel Mambo,” he wrote in his caption.

He added that the hotel has been a dream of his and took eight years in the making.

“I am so blessed and thankful to have talented, hardworking and fun artist friends taking a much-deserved break, unwinding and recharging with me on my first time back since our doors officially opened,” Rico said.

He then thanked his fellow artists “for the core memories, love you guys.”

The group has clearly been having the best time in La Union and has been sharing memories on their respective social media pages.

Maloi shared a shot of the group by the ocean. In her Instagram Story, Agnes likewise shared a photo and said, “When the plan makes it out of the group chat.”

The artists have been making waves in the local and international music scene in recent years.

BINI is set to have a Philippine Arena concert and a world tour this year.

Meanwhile, Pat and Agnes got married in 2024, a month before Ben&Ben’s major concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Over October has been getting much-deserved praise for their single “Ikot.”

Blaster, Zild, and Ischi have all released new music in 2024.

Shaira is known for capturing countless artists like Sabrina Carpenter, SB19, and Cup of Joe. She is also dubbed the “Ukay Queen.”

And of course, Rico has never left the airwaves and is best known for the songs, “Antukin,” “You’ll Be Safe Here,” “Your Universe,” and many more.

He is also the owner of various businesses, including the La Union lifestyle complex, Port San Juan.
