Carla Abellana to go on 'well-deserved' vacation after 'Widows' War'
Carla Abellana is all set to unwind after “Widows’ War.”
In an interview following the finale’s script reading, the Kapuso actress told GMA News Online that she will be traveling to Japan once taping wraps.
“I actually made plans already. Siguro a month after ‘Widows’ War,’ babalik akong Tokyo,” Carla said. “Japan in general is one of my favorite countries, so excited ako.”
She added that the trip is a way for her to decompress after the intensity of the murder-mystery series.
“Hindi ko na iisipin ‘yung schedule, ‘yung taping, ‘yung role ko, kung ano ‘yung babalikan kong show,” Carla said.
“Kumbaga, makakapag-travel ako nang hindi ko na masyado iniisip ‘yung ‘Widows’ War,” the actress added. “Kumbaga, mag sign off na talaga ‘ko, kalimutan ko na si George. And yeah, enjoy lang. ‘Yun ang well-deserved vacation.”
"Widows’ War" is a spinoff of the popular GMA-7 murder-mystery series "Royal Blood" and "Widow's Web."
Carla and Bea Alonzo star as former best friends Georgina and Samantha. They both lose their husbands and become sworn enemies as they search for justice for their loved ones.
Earlier, Carla shared her reactions upon reading the script of the finale, and said, “Magugulat kayo.”
“Widows’ War” is down to its last two weeks at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Prime. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
