Khalil Ramos, Rita Daniela, Anthony Rosaldo among ‘Liwanag Sa Dilim’ cast

Kapuso stars Khalil Ramos, Rita Daniela, and Anthony Rosaldo are part of the cast of the much-awaited musical "Liwanag Sa Dilim." 

In a video, local theater company 9Works Theatrical revealed the 23 cast members of the all-new original musical.  

Other cast members include promising actors such as CJ Navato, Nicole Omillo, Alexa Ilacad, and Vien King.

Also part of the cast is Noemi Gonzales, Arnel Carrion, Boo Gabunada, Jon Abella, Raul Montesa, Rica Laguardia, Lani Ligot, Jasper Jimenez, Mark Tayag, Derrick Gozos, Chez Cuenca, Paji Arceo, Iya Villanueva, Lucylle Tan, Denzel Chang and Brianna Bunagan. 

The musical is set to be staged in March 2025. 

Titled "Liwanag sa Dilim," local theater production 9 Works Theatrical aims to honor and celebrate Rico Blanco's contributions to the Filipino music industry. 

The book and direction are both under Robbie Guevarra. 

9 Works Theatrical has staged other award-winning musicals, including "Grease," "La Cage aux Folles," "Tick, Tick... Boom!,"  "Rent," and "Once On This Island." — Sherylin Untalan/BM, GMA Integrated News
