Jo Berry meets fan diagnosed with cancer

A cancer patient who dreams of becoming a lawyer has met Jo Berry, the lead star of GMA Afternoon Prime series "Lilet Matias: Attorney at Law."

As seen in Nelson Canlas's report in "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, Raizen, who suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, met the Kapuso actress during the taping of the series. 

According to the report, Raizen was inspired to become a lawyer because of Jo's character as Attorney Lilet. 

"Gusto ko po ipagtanggol po 'yung hindi po nila kayang ipagtanggol 'yung sarili nila, doon po ako na-inspire sa kanya, sabi ko kailangan talagang maging matapang kapag may pinaglalaban tayo," Raizen said.

Meanwhile, Jo thanked Raizen for making her his inspiration.

"Ako rin, nadagdagan yung inspiration ko. Thank you na ganyan 'yung willpower mo na ituloy 'yung pangarap mo," Jo said.

Aside from bonding together, the cast of the series threw an advance birthday celebration for Raizen.
