Miguel Tanfelix on upcoming ‘Mga Batang Riles’ series: ‘Sumasalamin talaga sa mga tunay na buhay'

Miguel Tanfelix’s role in “Mga Batang Riles” may be out of his comfort zone, but it is something close to the heart.

In Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Miguel said that the Kapuso series’ story reflects reality.

“'Yung story po namin sumasalamin talaga sa mga tunay na buhay na nawi-witness araw-araw, ‘di ba? ‘Yung mga nakatira talaga sa gilid ng tren. So, gusto namin, mas close sa reality, mas maganda,” he said.

The project was also filmed in actual railway homes.

“Nakikita po namin. ‘Pag may konting time, chit-chat konti. So, kahit papaano may glimpse po kami kung paano sila mamuhay,” he said.

Miguel will star in the series as Kidlat with Kokoy De Santos (Kulot), Raheel Bhyria (Sig), Bruce Roeland (Matos), and Antonio Vinzon (Dagul).

“Mga Batang Riles” will premiere on January 6 on GMA Prime.
