Jean Garcia, Rita Daniela give moral support after Barbie Forteza announces split with Jak Roberto

Jean Garcia and Rita Daniela gave thoughtful messages for Barbie Forteza after she announced her breakup from Jak Roberto.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Jean and Barbie became close to each other when they worked together in “The Half Sisters.”

“Basta ako, anytime na kailangan lang ako ni Barbie, kailangan niya ng kausap, kailangan niyang mag-vent-out, kailangan niya ang suporta ko, at kailangan niya ng taong makikinig sa kaniya at gusto niya ng shoulder to cry on, andito lang [ako.] Alam naman ni Barbie 'yon,” Jean said.

Rita offered the same comfort and support for her fellow Sparkle star.

“Alam n'yo po, kaya rin kami naging magkaibigan ni Barang, kasi masasabi kong parehas kami ng—siguro 'yung energy when it comes to people and I guess on also deciding, making decisions. Kaya kung ano man [‘yung] pinagdadaanan ngayon ni Barang, alam kong napag-isipan na niya nang mabuti 'yan at napaghandaan niya na 'yan,” Rita said.

“At, Diyos ko, Tito Lhar, napakatapang ng babae na 'yan. Siyempre kailangan niya ng pagmamahal namin at akap namin, pero alam kong kayang-kaya niya,” she added.

Barbie announced her breakup from Jak on Thursday. They were together for seven years.

Before she made the announcement, Barbie also received a short message from her sister, Gabrielle Vierneza.

“Gusto ko happy ka,” Gabrielle posted on X (formerly Twitter) on January 1, together with a photo of the Sparkle star laughing.
