Jillian Ward on being called ‘Patron Saint of Fan Service’ by fans: ‘I view them as friends, as family’
Jillian Ward is truly the best when it comes to fan service!
On Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the Sparkle star opened up on being called the “Patron Saint of Fan Service” by her fans.
“Ang fans ko po kasi I view them as friends, as family,” Jillian said.
She recalled the time when she visited a grandmother while taping some scenes of “Abot-Kamay na Pangarap” in a hospital.
“Last time nag-t-taping po ako sa 'Abot-Kamay' meron pong isang lola na naka-admit po sa hospital. So talagang, nag-aano po talaga ako feeling ko doktor ako kasi pinupuntahan ko po sila sa mga rooms nila, kinakamusta ko sila,” she shared.
“Kasi gusto daw po nilang makita si Doktora Annalyn, nakita po ako. So mga ganun po, I really make time for them."
Mentioning her previous mall shows, Jillian said she received a lot of friendship bracelets from her fans, as well as drawings.
The Kapuso actress also received a ring during a parade back in January, a proof of her fans' love and support for her.
Jillian recently starred as Doc Analyn in "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap." She dedicated the role to her late grandmother, who wanted Jillian's mom to be a doctor.
The successful series aired on GMA Afternoon Prime for two years with multiple extensions. It concluded in October.
She is set to star in the upcoming Kapuso romantic comedy series “My Ilonggo Girl” with Michael Sager. The show premieres on GMA Prime on January 13.
