Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo host jeje-themed New Year party
Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo had a hilarious idea to welcome the New Year: a jejemon-themed party with their friends.
As seen in Jennylyn's Instagram Reel, the couple and their guests paid tribute to the iconic Filipino subculture—which boasts its own language and practices—through their outfits and gave themselves witty monikers.
Jennylyn sported an oversized jersey on top of a shirt with baggy cargo shorts and sandals, and introduced herself as the “Jeje-Mom ng Commonwealth, Quezon City.”
Dennis then wore a cap that was tilted sideways and oversized shades. The Kapuso Drama King was dubbed as the G@me Mast3r.
DenJen and their guests also played party games with cash prizes and awarded the group’s Best in Costume.
More of DenJen’s recent hilarious videos include the reference to Jennylyn’s character in “Rhodora X,” “No Air” skit, Dennis sporting a crop top, the “What state are you in?” trend, a twist on the “What’s in my bag” video, and the “Maybe This Time” dance challenge.
Their upcoming romantic-comedy film, “Everything About My Wife,” just released its first teaser and will premiere exclusively in cinemas soon.
