Ruru Madrid closes 2024 with a grateful heart

Ruru Madrid is grateful for the year 2024.

On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared his 2024 recap where it contained photos of his precious moments from the year that had passed.

“Salamat, 2024! Isang taon na punong-puno ng biyaya, tagumpay, at pagmamahal,” Ruru wrote, as he listed career milestones like topbilling “Black Rider” and the award-winning 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) film “Green Bones,” which earned him the Best Supporting Actor award, and the return of “Lolong.” Of course, he made mention spending six wonderful years with girlfriend Bianca Umali.

“Hindi ko magagawa ang lahat ng ito kung wala ang suporta ng aking pamilya, mga kaibigan, ang tiwala ng mga tumatangkilik sa akin, at higit sa lahat, ang patnubay ng Panginoon,” Ruru said.

As a brand new year commences, Ruru believes that 2025 will be the best year not just for him but for everyone.

“Patuloy tayong mangarap, magpursigi, at magbigay ng inspirasyon sa bawat isa. Mananatiling paa sa lupa, mata sa langit. To God be the glory! Happy New Year, everyone!” he added.

2025 will be quite a year for Ruru too. Aside from reprising his role in “Lolong” season two, he will also be back as Ybrahim in “Sang’gre.”

Previously, the Kapuso actor said he is deeply grateful for his showbiz projects.

“This journey reminds me to keep dreaming, work hard, at patuloy na maniwala sa lahat ng plano ng Ama,” Ruru said.

“I’m also deeply grateful for all my loved ones who continue to inspire and support me every step of the way,” he added. “Excited for what’s ahead—truly, nothing is impossible with faith and perseverance.”
