GMA Network unveils stellar lineup of program offerings on its Diamond Year

GMA Network, the country's leading broadcast company, delivers a program line-up brimming with excellence as it celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025. For its diamond year, audiences can look forward to more entertainment that inspires and endures while showcasing world-class Filipino talent.

Beginning with GMA Prime, Kapuso fans will get an all-new total prime experience with programs that highlight compelling and innovative storytelling featuring the Kapuso Network's biggest and brightest stars!

Thrilling audiences beginning in January 2025 is the action-drama series, "Mga Batang Riles," starring Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob Miguel Tanfelix as Kidlat, Kokoy de Santos as Kulot, Bruce Roeland as Matos, Raheel Bhyria as Sig, Antonio Vinzon as Dagul. Joining GMA's homegrown talents are high-calibre actors Roderick Paulate, Jeric Raval, Jay Manalo, Diana Zubiri, Desiree del Valle and Mr. Ronnie Ricketts.

Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo and Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado star in "Sanggang Dikit." Set against the backdrop of political intrigue and personal rivalries, GMA's buddy-cop series channels the high-octane energy and style of 80s action films. Besides performances from two of the Network's biggest stars, audiences will be thrilled by explosive stunts, gunfights, and high-stakes storylines.

Further exploring the magical world of "Encantadia" is the "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," headlined by Faith da Silva, Angel Guardian, Kelvin Miranda and Primetime Gem, Bianca Umali.   With them is a powerful line-up of GMA stars led by Glaiza de Castro, Solenn Huesaff , Gabby Eigenmann, and Rhian Ramos.  The new series explores the story of Terra, who discovers her magical abilities on her eighteenth birthday. She uses her new-found powers to defend the oppressed in the metropolis of Eltoro, governed by Emil Salvador. Unbeknownst to Terra, she is actually a Sang'gre, a royalty of the queendom of Lireo in the mystical world of Encantadia.

Coming to GMA Prime as well is an exciting line-up of programs from GMA Public Affairs.

Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid returns as the titular character in "Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan." The much-awaited new season of 2022's "Most Watched Television Series" sees Lolong experiencing a tragedy on his wedding day. To save his beloved Elsie, played by Shaira Diaz, and his people, he embarks on a perilous quest to recover the Ubtao, a legendary gem known to possess miraculous powers.

Kilig comes to television screens in "My Ilongga Girl." Top-rating teen queen Jillian Ward stars in her first primetime rom-com in the role of an unassuming Ilongga who turns out to be a doppelgänger of a missing celebrity.

True to its promise as being "Tatak World-Class," GMA Public Affairs is also set to further entertain and intrigue audiences with "Beauty Empire." The international co-production is a series that explores the skin and beauty industry headed by powerful female moguls.

Other GMA Prime programs set to intrigue audiences with unexpected twists and turns are "Slay" and "Hari ng Tondo."

Meanwhile, GMA Afternoon Prime ups the ante in program offerings with stories of heartbreak while also celebrating the human spirit triumphing against all odds.

Bringing light to the dark corners of a prison is "Prinsesa ng City Jail." The touching drama series, which delves into the story of a young girl raised near Bagumbayan City Jail by her adoptive father, stars Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay, Dominic Ochoa, Denise Laurel and Beauty Gonzalez.

Herlene Budol, meanwhile, stars in "Binibining Marikit." The program also features performances from Pokwang, Tony Labrusca, who makes his Kapuso Network debut, and Kevin Dasom.

Another must-watch drama series is "Mommy Dearest," starring Camille Prats, Shayne Sava, and Katrina Halili.

Rounding up GMA Afternoon Prime's offerings are "Cruz vs. Cruz," "A Mother's Tale," and "My Stepmother, My Best Friend."

A repertoire of diverse romantic and love stories from across Asia will give fans kilig overload. Watch and enjoy "The Lovely Runner," "When I Marry A Stranger," "My Happy Ending," "Blue Birthday," "The Giver," "Perfect Marriage Revenge," "My Cherie Amour," "Missing Crown Prince," "Lighter and Princess," "Knight Flower," "The Cheery Lee, Village Headman," "Love Between Fairy and Moon Supreme," "Lawless Lawyer," "My Love in the Countryside," "Arthdal Chronicles," and "Kissed by the Rain."

Besides new television programs that will captivate audiences, GMA also brings an array of blockbuster Pinoy movies spanning the genres of romance, comedy, drama, thriller, horror, and more: "Five Breakups and a Romance," "Video City," "Family of Two," "Nanahimik Ang Gabi," "Iti Mapupukaw," "Becky and Badette," "Kampon," "Deleter," "Mahal Kita, Beksman," "Girlfriend Na, Puwede Na," "Yung Libro sa Napanood Ko," "Will You Be My Ex," and "Expensive Candy."

In 2025, GMA Network  also unveils the return of Fernando Poe Jr.'s iconic films through "FPJ sa GMA."  The collection of his greatest box-office hits will give his longtime fans and younger audiences a memorable and nostalgic experience.

World-class blockbusters await the whole family as well in GMA's diamond year: "The King's Man," "War for the Planet of the Apes," "Terminator: Dark Fate," "The Batman," "Fantastic Beasts : The Secrets of Dumbledore," "Elvis," :DC: League of Super Pets," "Don't worry, Darling," "Black Adam," "Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves," "Paws of Fury: The legend of Hank," "A Quiet Place," "65,"  The Garfield Movie," "Madame Webb," "The Last Dance," "A Man Called Otto," "Bad Boys : Ride or Die," and "Escape Room: Tournament of Champions."

GMA Integrated News delivers the most comprehensive multi-platform election coverage for Eleksyon 2025 with more than 50 partners joining together from the fields of media telecommunications, technology, education, business, law, and public service, uniting to provide Filipinos with comprehensive, timely, and accurate information. GMA Integrated News also unveiled its election advocacy campaign "Dapat Totoo," emphasizing the fight against misinformation and disinformation to help guide voters this 2025 midterm elections.

Also in line for the upcoming Eleksyon 2025, GMA Public Affairs and GMA Integrated News join forces beginning in January for "Tanong ng Bayan: The Senatorial Face Off."

Sports fans should tune in as GMA Network continues the live broadcast of various heart-pounding collegiate sports events of the NCAA. In 2025, NCAA will celebrate Season 100 of its volleyball tournament and Season 101 of basketball.

New seasons of popular talent competition programs "The Voice Kids" and "Tanghalan ng Kampeon " will be returning to television screens.  Season 2 of the Gen Z series "MAKA," starring Zephanie and Romnick Sarmenta, will also return in January. 

Set to delight audiences even more is a new program from GMA, "Stars on the Dance Floor."

Also coming in 2025 are more original films produced by GMA Pictures: "Version Two," "Samahan ng mga Makasalanan," "Moments of Love," "58th," "KMJS Gabi ng Lagim: The Movie," "P77."

GMA Public Affairs also unveils new projects, beginning with the launch of an online archive of Jessica Soho's most iconic stories. Celebrating her 40 years in journalism, the archive features her iconic stories, from her mission to the Spratlys, her expose' on the underground organ trade, interviews with past presidents. Netizens can also access Soho's little-known stories from her early years as a journalist. The archive will be available on television and digital platforms in February. 

Meanwhile, Matteo Guidicelli pays tribute to the brave men and women who protect the country's sovereignty in "Philippine Defenders." The actor, who is also a Philippine Army reservist, joins them in missions to defend our land, seas, and skies. "Philippine Defenders" will air in March.
