Ruru Madrid poses for photo with his 'idol' group SB19

Ruru Madrid couldn't help but be a fanboy of SB19.

On X, the Kapuso Primetime Action Hero shared a photo of him posing beside the five members of the group, namely Stell, Pablo, Justin, Josh, and Ken.

The P-pop Kings are behind the song "Nyebe," which is the official soundtrack of the award-winning Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Green Bones."

"Hi nga pala mula sa aking mga idol at kumanta ng 'Nyebe!'" Ruru said.

In an earlier report, SB19 expressed their gratitude for being part of "Green Bones."

"Sobrang thankful po kami dahil nagustuhan niyo po 'yung 'Nyebe' na kanta at napili n'yo po na ilagay sa movie n'yo po kaya maraming maraming salamat. Sobrang thankful po talaga namin," Ken said.

Previously, Stell and Pablo attended the star-studded premiere night of "Green Bones" at the SM North EDSA.

"Green Bones" took home the most awards at MMFF 2024, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best Supporting Actor (Ruru), Best Child Performer (Sienna Stevens), Best Screenplay, and Best Cinematography during the awards night held at Solaire Resort in Parañaque City.

"Green Bones" is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs.

It follows prisoner Domingo Zamora (Dennis), who is notorious for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Now that Domingo is up for parole, the newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what.

"Green Bones" also stars Michael De Mesa, Alessandra De Rossi, Ronnie Lazaro, Kylie Padilla, Mikoy Morales, Gerhard Acao, Iza Calzado, Sofia Pablo, and more.

The film is now showing in over 100 cinemas nationwide.
