Gary V's team issues official statement on partial refunds for concert that was cut short
Gary Valenciano’s team on Saturday apologized to those who attended the first day of the singer's Pure Energy: One More Time concert, which was cut short due to health concerns.
In a statement, they expressed regret that some fans might have felt "disappointed or shortchanged.”
“The decision to cut the concert short was not made lightly. This is the first time it has ever happened in Gary’s decades-long career. Gary has always given his all in every performance, and the December 20th incident was a shock to all of us. Our bodies can only take so much, and so we made the decision to put his health first,” they said.
The team assured that they understand and respect that many were disappointed with the concert not meeting their expectations.
“If you feel you did not get the concert value you paid for and wish to request a partial refund, please reach out to us directly at TICKETS@GARYV.COM as we are currently discussing the mechanics with the Ticketnet PH management.”
According to the statement, all email inquiries will be processed beginning January 2, 2025.
Gary has been holding his “Pure Energy” concerts throughout the year in celebration of his 40th year in the entertainment industry.
His top hits include “Di Bale Nalang,” “Di Na Natuto,” “Warrior is a Child,” “Shout for Joy,” “Sana Maulit Muli,” and “Take Me Out of the Dark,” among many others.
