Barbie Forteza, Mikoy Morales, and more say goodbye to their ‘Pulang Araw’ characters

The stars of “Pulang Araw” have bid farewell to their characters following the series’ finale on Friday night.

Barbie Forteza posted a behind-the-scenes shot of her crying and simply wrote on Instagram, “ADELINA DELA CRUZ, signing off.”

It’s been an honor and definitely one for the (history) books,” the actor added.

Ryo Nagatsuka, who portrayed a Japanese immigrant and also served as a language coach on the series, said that one year of working on the show “was very quick.” He also thanked GMA Network “for this wonderful opportunity.”

Rochelle Pangilinan, Ashley Ortega, Angelu De Leon, and Aidan Veneracion have previously signed off from their characters.

The “Pulang Araw” finale brought peace to the main characters Adelina (Barbie), Hiroshi (David Licauco), Teresita (Sanya Lopez), and Eduardo (Alden Richards).
