Bianca Umali proud of Ruru Madrid for ‘Green Bones’: ‘Ikaw ang tunay na idol ko’

Bianca Umali is so proud of Ruru Madrid for his work in “Green Bones.”

On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared a photo of Ruru from the set of the movie, where he is seen wearing his jailguard uniform.

“Ikaw ang tunay na idol ko,” Bianca began.

As she thanked Ruru for always acknowledging her as his inspiration, Bianca told him it's actually the other way around. “Pero sa totoo lang - baliktad - Ikaw ang sa akin at ipinagpapasalamat ko na ikaw ay akin. Bakit? Dahil maliban sa kahusayan mo, tinitingala kita dahil sa busilak mong puso, dahil likas na mabuti kang tao at dahil isa kang ehemplo na karapat dapat tularan. Kaya ka mahal ng Ama.”

The actress also proudly promoted “Green Bones” calling the MMFF entry an “obra maestra,” “tunay na kahanga-hanga,” and “nakakapagbigay-inspirasyon.”

Bianca gave a virtual hat tip to the whole production, including award-winning director Zig Carlo, Ruru's co-star Dennis Trillo and GMA Pictures and Bright Burn Entertainment.

In her post, Bianca said among the things she learned from "Green Bones" is that kindness doesn’t choose anyone.

“Ang pagiging mabuting tao ay walang pinipili. Ikaw ang pumipili nun. Proud ako dito. Sobra pa sa sobra,” she said.

Meanwhile, Ruru expressed his love and gratitude to Bianca in the comment section.

“Maraming salamat, Mahal ko! Ikaw ang nagpapalakas at nagbibigay sa akin ng inspirasyon araw-araw... Mahal na mahal kita! Magkasama nating tuparin ang lahat ng ating nga pangarap,” he wrote.

Green Bones” starring Ruru and Dennis Trillo follows the story of a prisoner named Domingo Zamora (Dennis) who is infamous for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Already up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what it takes.

The film is now showing in over 40 cinemas nationwide. Tickets are available online.
