Kylie Padilla feels fulfilled to be part of ‘Green Bones’: 'Touching, heart wrenching and most beautiful film'

For Kylie Padilla, being part of the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Green Bones” is a fulfilling journey.

On Instagram, the Sparkle actress shared the film's poster alongside some positive reviews it received from its special preview.

“So fulfilling to be part of a truly touching, heart wrenching and most beautiful film,” Kylie wrote in the caption.

“Congratulations to everyone who was a part of making it,” she added.

Aside from Kylie, the MMFF entry also stars Dennis Trillo, Ruru Madrid, Sofia Pablo, Iza Calzado, Royce Cabrera, and Mikoy Morales, among others.

Directed by Kapuso award-winning director Zig Dulay, the film follows a prisoner (Dennis) who is infamous for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Already up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what it takes.

"Green Bones" will premiere on December 25 in over 40 cinemas nationwide. Tickets are now available online.
