Is Dennis Trillo open to directing one day? Actor answers
Dennis Trillo is an award-winning actor with terrific command of his craft.
On Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the Kapuso Drama King got asked if he's open to directorial jobs and he said he's been thinking about it.
“'Yung pagiging direktor kasi, hindi lang siya basta maisip mo lang, gagawin mo na,” Dennis began, adding that he have been consulting with film directors to know the basics of the job.
“Ako, madalas akong nag-o-observe sa tapings, sa shooting. Marami na rin po akong na-consult na director, nagpapaturo sa kanila, nagpapa-recommend ng mga librong babasahin and siguro walang ibang nakakaintindi ng trabaho ng direktor kundi mga artista din dahil ‘yon ang nakikita nila palagi,” he shared.
When asked if he is open to the idea of being a director, Dennis answered: “Sana po. Sana.”
Dennis currently plays the role of Col. Yuta Saitoh in “Pulang Araw,” which is now in its finale week.
He also stars as the notorious criminal Domingo Zamora in the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Green Bones.”
“Green Bones” will premiere in cinemas nationwide on December 25. Tickets are now available.
