Does Dennis Trillo believe in the idea of green bones? Actor answers
Dennis Trillo guested on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Monday and gamely answered the many, varied questions from the King of Talk, among them if he believes in the concept of green bones.
His new movie, "Green Bones" is based on a little-known myth that when a good person is cremated, green bones will be found in his remains.
"Naniniwala ako sa green bones," Dennis began, adding it wasn't until recently when he learned about the idea.
"Pero siguro mas maganda din na, totoo man o hindi, magsisilbi Siyang reminder na palagi mong, palagi kang magpapakabuti. Na piliin mong maging mabuting tao," the actor said.
"Green Bones," an MMFF entry, is based on the concept of JC Rubio, an award-winning senior program manager of I-Witness Kara Docs.
He learned about the idea of green bones from a friend whose family found nine green bones in her grandmother's remains. Coincidentally, she had nine children. For the family, the green bones was a testament of her goodness as a mother. For Rubio, it inspired the concept of the movie.
Dennis Trillo topbills the film alongside Ruru Madrid. It will begin screening on Christmas Day.
