SB19 honored to be part of 'Green Bones;' Stell, Pablo attend premiere night
Stell and Pablo of SB19 were among the celebrities who graced the star-studded premiere night of the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Green Bones" on Friday.
On Instagram, the P-pop Kings shared some snaps of the "The Voice Kids Philippines" coaches taken from the black carpet and premiere night of the film held at the SM North Edsa.
In their post, the group thanked GMA Network for inviting them to the event and said they were beyond honored that their 2022 single, "Nyebe," was chosen to be the movie's official theme song.
"Big congratulations to the talented Green Bones team and everyone involved in bringing this amazing movie to life. Watching the movie was an unforgettable experience!" SB19 said.
Aside from Stell and Pablo, the premiere night headlined by lead stars Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid were also attended by GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and GMA Films President, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; GMA Pictures Executive Vice President and GMA Public Affairs First Vice President and Nessa Valdellon; and Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo.
Also present are cast members Mikoy Morales, Sofia Pablo, Alessandra de Rossi, Pauline Mendoza, and Iza Calzado.
Meanwhile, those who attended to show their support include Jennylyn Mercado, Bianca Umali, Bryce Eusebio, Paul Salas, Marco Masa, Ashley Sarmiento, Allen Ansay and Kyline Alcantara.
"Green Bones" is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs, with its screenplay written by Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza. It is produced by GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures.
The film follows a prisoner (Dennis) who is infamous for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Already up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what it takes.
