'Mga Batang Riles' cast excited for upcoming series, stage live drama at media con

The "Mga Batang Riles" cast members are nothing short of excited as the much-awaited series is set to premiere on GMA Prime in January 2025!

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras" on Friday, the upcoming Kapuso show's media conference earlier was attended by Miguel Tanfelix (Kidlat), Kokoy de Santos (Kulot), Raheel Bhyria (Sig), Bruce Roeland (Matos), and Antonio Vinzon (Dagul), as well as other cast members such as Diana Zubiri, Ronnie Ricketts, Zephanie, Roderick Paulate, and Desiree del Valle.

GMA Entertainment Group was in full support of the event, led by Senior Vice President Lilybeth Rasonable and other executives.

The cast kicked off the media conference with a live drama, where they gave the audience a taste of what to expect in the series.  

Miguel, Kokoy, Raheel, Bruce, and Antonio also expressed that they can't wait for viewers to see "Mga Batang Riles."

"'Yun 'yung masarap sa pakiramdam and excited na kong maka-relate 'yung mga tao sa produktong ginawa po namin," said Miguel.

"Habang palapit nang palapit 'yung airing na 'to mas excited 'yung nararamdaman ko compared sa pressure and alam ko binigay naman 'yung lahat eh," shared Bruce.

Raheel, for his, part shared that he feels pressured but it's the good kind of pressure, adding that he is excited for viewers to see how hard they worked.

Antonio also vowed that they will give their best for the show and for viewers to learn from it.  

"Gagawin po namin 'yung 100% namin para sa show na 'to, para matuwa po kayo at marami kayong matutunan dito," he said.

Kokoy, on his end, teased that he personally can't wait for viewers to see a "new" Miguel.

At the media conference, Miguel also shared that the series is new and exciting for him because he doesn't have a love team in it.

“Mga Batang Riles," directed by Richard Arellano, will premiere on January 6, 8 p.m., on GMA Network.
