GMA Network, Star Studio Japan ink contract to bring ‘Tanghalan ng Kampeon’ to Japan
GMA Network and Star Studio Japan signed a contract on Wednesday to bring “TiktoClock's” segment "Tanghalan ng Kampeon” to Japan.
During the contract signing, Star Studio Japan Executive Elizabeth Gushi hoped for the success of the upcoming talent show.
“Maraming salamat po sa pagpili niyo sa aking studio para dalhin natin ang ‘Tanghalan ng Kampeon’ sa Nagoya, Japan. Inaasahan ko po na sana sabay-sabay tayo at lahat tayo ay maging successful ito sa darating na panahon," she said.
Present in the contract signing are GMA Network Vice President of Musical, Variety Specials and Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Network Senior Talent Manager Charles Anthony Koo, and “TiktoClock” hosts Kim Atienza, Faith Da Silva, and Jayson Gainza.
“Thank you for trusting ‘Tanghalan ng Kampeon’ na magdala ng saya sa mga kababayan natin sa Japan, at sa mga tao na kahit hindi Pilipino, mga pwede nating ma-engganyo na makilahok sa ‘Tanghalan ng Kampeon’ Japan,” Santiago-Lara said in her speech.
Details about the airing date have yet to be revealed, but auditions for the talent competition are currently being held in Japan.
“Tanghalan ng Kampeon” made its much-anticipated comeback in 2024. It has produced two winners: MC Mateo (Season 1) and Tala Gatchalian (Season 2).
“TiktoClock” airs weekdays at 11 a.m. on GMA Network.
