Desiree del Valle praises 'Mga Batang Riles' co-stars Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos

Desiree del Valle only had praises for Miguel Tanfelix and Kokoy De Santos, her co-stars in the upcoming GMA Prime series "Mga Batang Riles."

On Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the actress shared about her return to GMA Network for the series and how it's like working with a new cast, specifically Miguel and Kokoy.

"These boys, I actually was able to have the opportunity to get to know them during workshop with Direk Laurice Guillen and I know that they're very hungry and they really wanna do good," she said.

According to Desiree, the young Sparkle stars are inspiring her to do a better job as a kontrabida.

"I see them, they really work hard, hindi 'yung, 'Ah kaya na 'yan, kaya na 'yan.' They're really doing their best and giving GMA a very good show this coming year," she said.

The cast of "Mga Batang Riles" had a workshop with Direk Laurice back in August, which also included Sparkle stars Raheel Bhyria, Bruce Roeland, and Antonio Vinzon.

At the time, the veteran actress praised the young actors for their acting chops.

In November, the cast underwent more trainings and workshops for the series, including fight training with veteran action stars Ronnie Ricketts, Jeric Raval, and Jay Manalo.

In the same month, the series dropped its second action-packed teaser, which offered a glimpse of the lead characters' lives in Sitio Liwanag.

"Mga Batang Riles" is directed by Richard Arellano. It is set to premiere in January 2025.
