Are Naya Ambi, Nevin Garceniego open to trying acting?
Are "The Clash Season 6" winner Naya Ambi and "The Voice Kids Philippines" grand champion Nevin Garceniego open to trying acting?
The two champions graced Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" with Jessica Villarubin and they talked about their competition journey.
During the program, "The Clash" judge Lani Misalucha asked Naya via video message if she is open to doing acting projects.
The newly crowned winner answered: "Puwede naman po."
Nevin was also asked the same question by Tito Boy and he also answered, "Puwede naman po."
The two were also asked what they were going to do with their P1 million cash prize.
Nevin said he is going to save the money for his future, while Naya will donate a part of it to their church ministry "Batang Sidewalk."
"Sa akin po, ido-donate ko po ito [a portion] sa Batang Sidewalk, 'yung ministry na mayroon po kami sa church. Sila po 'yung mga nagtuturo sa mga street children. Nagtuturo po sila ng Bible stories," the 19-year-old said.
As a kontesera herself, Jessica advised the two young singers to always strive for excellence and be kind.
"Isa lang ang masasabi ko, mas lalo niyo pang gagalingan kasi this is just the start and the beginning ng mga career niyo. So dapat galingan, dapat 'wag mapagod mag-practice. At siyempre magpakabait. Kahit anong opportunity na dumating, tanggap lang nang tanggap," she said.
As their singing competition journey ended, Naya and Nevin shared the most unforgettable lessons they learned from their mentors.
"Just feel the song and don't think of it as a competition," Nevin said, recalling what his coach Pablo of SB19 reminded him.
For Naya meanwhile, it is the words "always sing with your heart" from the judges Lani, AiAi delas Alas and Christian Bautista that made an impact with her the most.
Naya delivered a powerful performance of "I'll Be There" by Mariah Carey during the finals of "The Clash Season 6" on Saturday.
Nevin, meanwhile, won a nerve-wracking rendition of "May Bukas Pa" to best three other "The Voice Kids Philippines" finalists on Sunday.
