‘It’s Showtime’ congratulates Sofronio Vasquez for ‘The Voice’ win

The “It’s Showtime” hosts congratulated their Tawag ng Tanghalan alum Sofronio Vasquez for his historic win on “The Voice" US.

During the opening segment on Wednesday, the hosts cheered for Sofronio, with Ogie Alcasid saying, “Your ‘Showtime’ family is so proud of you. Tatak ‘Showtime’ ka.” 

Teddy Corpuz said that Sofronio’s win is, “Magandang inspirasyon ‘yan sa mga ‘TNT’ na sumasali.”

Kim Chiu added, “Di man dito sa ‘Showtime’ stage, sa ibang stage sila mapapanalo.”

“We love you, Sof!” Karylle said.

Sofronio competed in “Tawag ng Tanghalan” in 2019 and finished as the third runner-up.

He made history as the first Asian and first Filipino to win "The Voice USA."
