Archie Alemania files counter-affidavit, denies Rita Daniela’s allegations

Archie Alemania submitted a counter-affidavit in response to the act of lasciviousness complaint filed against him by Rita Daniela.

According to Oscar Oida’s report on “24 Oras,” Tuesday, Alemania and his lawyer Atty. Ameir Muksan submitted the document at the Bacoor Hall of Justice and is part of the ongoing preliminary investigation on the complaint.

They declined to give a comment, but the prosecutor said the counter-affidavit denies the allegations Daniela previously made.

Daniela’s lawyer, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, was also present. She said that as much as they can, they make sure that Alemania and Daniela won’t cross paths.

“Because of the trauma that the victims of these crimes, well of course alleged victims of these crimes, is undergoing psychologically. So as her counsel, I also have to protect her mental health. The counsel of Archie is amenable to that,” she said.

She added that Daniela is still “not OK.”

Daniela is set to submit her response to Alemania’s counter-affidavit on December 17.
