Rochelle Pangilinan signs off as Amalia on 'Pulang Araw'

Rochelle Pangilinan was filled with love and gratitude as she signed off from “Pulang Araw.”

The Kapuso actress and Sexbomb Girl made waves for her portrayal as Amalia Dimalanta-Torres, or Tiya Amalia. Rochelle was praised for her acting skills, as she showcased Amalia’s character development throughout the show, from being a villainous aunt, to suffering as a comfort woman, to finally being a guerilla fighter.

As Rochelle exits the show, Rochelle said in a TikTok, “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng kumapit at nagmahal kay Amalia. Ako din, mahal na mahal ko si Amalia.”

"Thank you, 'Pulang Araw,' marami kayong naitulong sa amin. Salamat po, hanggang sa muli. Bye Amalia,” she added.

"Pulang Araw" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras” and also streams on Netflix.
