Ruru Madrid shares strategy he used to step into his ‘Green Bones’ character
Ruru Madrid had a specific approach while working on “Green Bones,” which helped him step into his character, Gonzaga.
In Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, the Kapuso Primetime Action Hero said that he’s very excited for the movie because it marks his first Metro Manila Film Festival project.
Ruru will star alongside Dennis Trillo, who also had a different look in the film.
During the grand media conference of "Green Bones" on Thursday, Dennis shared that he learned Filipino sign language for the project. The film's official trailer was released on the same day.
GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes also graced the film's media con earlier.
But this, I can promise, malayong maganda ‘yung pelikula kaysa sa trailer," she said. "I’m very, very proud of this movie. Napakaganda, very heartwarming. Maganda siyang panoorin during Christmas time kasi may mapupulot ka talagang aral."
"Green Bones," directed by Zig Dulay, premieres at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 on December 25.
It is based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs, with its screenplay written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Angeli Atienza.
Dennis and Ruru are joined by a powerhouse cast of Iza Calzado, Alessandra De Rossi, Wendell Ramos, Michael De Mesa, Royce Cabrera, Ronnie Lazaro, Raul Morit, Sofia Pablo, Pauline Mendoza, and Sienna Stevens.
