Michael Sager says Cassy Legaspi is his 'answered prayer'

Cassy Legaspi is Michael Sager's answered prayer.

During Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the Sparkle actor said that he used to pray about his love life.

"Sabi ko 'Lord, I'm not asking, I'm not expecting. But when it comes to my love life, give me signs.' And you know, siguro the fact that I accepted the peace na to be single muna, when the right time comes it happens eh. And siguro that's God's timing," Michael said.

"So when he answered that prayer, I met a girl and we developed a good relationship together. Si Cassy [Legaspi] po," he added. "We're happy naman being good friends."

In a previous episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Michael said he is grateful to have a friend like Cassy.

"Being friends from 'Tahanang Pinakamasaya,' nag-co host po kami doon, to having a 'Regal Studio Presents' episode with her. It's great being able to work with her, to have her as a friend," he said.

Michael and Cassy had already worked together on several hosting and dancing projects.

Their first acting project together, "Regal Studio Presents: Fishing for Love," was directed by Cassy's dad, Zoren.

Michael currently stars in the Philippine adaptation of "Shining Inheritance" with Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, and Coney Reyes. It airs weekdays on GMA Afternoon Prime at 3:20 p.m.
