Celeste Legaspi names SB19's Stell, Julie Anne San Jose as singers she admires
Celeste Legaspi has nothing but good words for SB19's Stell and Julie Anne San Jose.
On Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the 74-year-old Filipina singer can't help but praise the two OPM stars when asked about her assessment of today's generation of singers.
"Some of them are very, very good," said the voice behind classics "Saranggola ni Pepe" and "Mamang Sorbetero."
"Stell of SB19 is absolutely fabulous. Napakagaling niya. And Julie Anne San Jose is very, very good, excellent," she added.
Stell and Julie Anne are among the coaches of "The Voice Kids Philippines" alongside Billy Crawford and fellow SB19 member Pablo.
The also pair held a sold-out two-day concert titled JulieXStell: Ang Ating Tinig at the New Frontier Theater back in July.
Julie is currently in Australia with Rayver Cruz for their back-to-back concerts, which will be held on December 7 at Williamstown Town Hall and December 8 at the grand ballroom of Liverpool Catholic Club.
Meanwhile, Stell previously released his debut solo EP "Room," which includes Ryan Cayabyab-composed ballad "'Di Ko Masabi."
