'Green Bones' delights SB19 fans with teaser featuring 'Nyebe'

“Green Bones” released a new teaser on Tuesday night and SB19 fans are loving it.

In the 16-second clip, Ruru Madrid’s character walks across a field with a scenic ocean and sunset behind him.

SB19 fans, or A’TIN, were surprised and delighted to hear the group’s ballad “Nyebe” play in the background.

“Really hope that more people will finally get to discover ‘Nyebe.’ This song has given us all so much comfort during tough times. Sobrang deserve ng ‘Nyebe’ yung spotlight huhu,” a fan said on X.

“’Nyebe,’ it’s your time to melt everyone’s heart! You will always be my most favorite SB19 song—a rare gem that’s written by the brilliant John Paulo Nase,” another fan said.

“Nyebe,” written by SB19’s leader Pablo, was released in December 2022. In the ballad, the group reflects on continuing to live life with hope, as time never stops.

This is the second SB19 song to be used for an entry at this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. The song “MAPA” was also featured in the trailer for “And the Breadwinner Is…” starring Vice Ganda.

“Green Bones” will premiere at the Metro Manila Film Festival in December.

It follows a prisoner (Dennis Trillo) who is infamous for the murder of his sister and her daughter. Already up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars no matter what it takes.

Meanwhile, SB19 dropped their latest single “Kalakal” featuring Gloc-9 in August. Their documentary film, “Pagtatag!” held a limited screening in Philippine cinemas in August and was screened in various countries.
