Rochelle Pangilinan says she feels like a 'superstar' because of 'Pulang Araw:' 'Dami ulit nagpapa-picture'

As "Pulang Araw" draws closer to its finale, Rochelle Pangilinan continuously receives praise for her performance as Amalia Dimalanta-Torres, or Tiya Amalia.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress expressed her gratitude for all the positive comments on her acting skills, with screenshots of some of the viewers' reviews attached to her post.

"Thank you sa mga pangmalakasang feedback!" Rochelle wrote.

"Naramdaman ko na superstar ako haha dami ulit nagpapa-picture and iba't ibang generations!" she added.

Rochelle also said she still feels overwhelmed by the good comments about her stint in the Kapuso series.

"Kapit lang kayo sa mga susunod pang mga eksena," she said. "Suportahan pa po natin ang 'Pulang Araw!'"

In "Pulang Araw," Tiya Amalia is the aunt of Adelina (Barbie Forteza) and Eduardo (Alden Richards), who becomes their primary guardian following the death of their mother.

She was among the characters who became a comfort woman in the show.

The Sparkle star said in a previous interview that it took her two days to break away from her character due to the intense scenes.

"Pulang Araw" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras" and also streams on Netflix.
