Kuya Kim renews contract with GMA Network

Kuya Kim remains a Kapuso!

The TV personality renewed his three-year contract with GMA Network on Monday with nothing but gratitude.

“All I can say is I’m just honored and so humbled na kailangan niyo pa ako at this point. Ako po ay so inspired,” Kuya Kim said during his speech.

“My stay here in GMA, I’m just having so much fun. I’m feeling so relevant and I’m feeling so used in a good way and for me to continue for this coming three years, I look forward to it the most. I know these three years will pass so fast again like the past three years, and we shall be sitting in this desk again and I will be signing another three-year contract again,” he added.

Present at the contract signing were GMA Network President and Chief Executive Officer Gilberto R. Duavit Jr.; GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes; GMA Public Affairs First Vice President Nessa Valdellon; GMA Integrated News Vice President and Deputy Head for News Programs and Specials Michelle Seva; Consultant for GMA Entertainment Group Darling De Jesus-Bordegon; and Kuya Kim’s manager Noel Ferrer.

In his speech, Duavit also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Kuya Kim for his “continued trust.”

“Malaking bagay sa amin at ikinakasaya namin ang lagdaan natin ngayon, bagama’t ito’y for formality na lamang, kasi sa napakaikling panahon, naging kapusong puro si Kim,” Duavit said.

“Kim, again, thank you very much, and we look forward to many more years together,” he added.

Kuya Kim, whose career in the industry has spanned two decades, is known for his famous trivia shows on TV and radio.

In October 2021, the versatile host joined GMA Network and hosted the talk show “Mars Pa More” and the news magazine show “Dapat Alam Mo!” on GTV.

He currently hosts the “24 Oras” segment “Kuya Kim Ano Na," the noontime variety game show “TiktoClock," and GMA's latest infotainment program "Dami Mong Alam, Kuya Kim," which debuted on November 30.
