Ariana Grande shares snap from first 'Wicked' crown fitting
Ariana Grande shared a selfie from her first crown fitting for her role as Glinda in "Wicked."
On Instagram, the actress and singer said that the photo was taken in September 2022.
She wore a pink tank top and still had brown hair then. At the time, the detailed silver crown was created from laser-cut paper, which was made by "Wicked" costume designer Paul Tazewell.
Filipino hat maker Harvy Santos was also among the talented designers who brought Glinda and Elphaba’s looks to life.
Recently, Ariana’s fellow lead star Cynthia Erivo thanked the “Wicked” production team via an Instagram post for their hard work and dedication.
“Wicked," directed by Jon Chu, follows the Good Witch Glinda and the Wicked Witch of the West Elphaba in their self-discovery journey in Shiz University.
It premiered in Philippine cinemas on November 20.
The musical film also stars Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, and Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard.
