Did Andrea del Rosario reject Vin Diesel back in the day?

Andrea del Rosario guested in the latest episode of Mikee Quintos' show, "Lutong Bahay," where she and her mom Aurora cooked pinaupong manok and oven-baked rosemary chicken.

During the episode's "Kitchen-terrogate" segment, the actress was asked by Mikee to name a showbiz personality who courted her before who she rejected. Otherwise, she would have to drink a milk-wasabi concoction from a shot glass.

"Vin Diesel," Andrea said, laughing, before taking it back. "Hindi, jino-joke lang kita, ayoko lang uminom nun."

Mikee, however, wasn't satisfied and prodded her to share more about her encounter with the Hollywood actor, who top-billed the "Fast and the Furious" franchise.

According to Andrea, she and Vin Diesel met many years ago.

"Na-meet ko siya kasi di 'ba when you go to mga bars, di 'ba, may lumapit sa 'kin mga bodyguard niya, sabi, 'Hey, you know, he wants to meet you,'" she recalled.

"'Ah okay.' Iniwan namin siya, so basically we walked around and then may lumapit ulit sa 'kin tapos 'yung
bodyguard niya ulit. In-invite niya kami na pumunta sa house party niya. Ganun ko siya na-meet," she said.

As to how the rejection happened, Andrea just told Mikee that she had to go back to the Philippines already at that time.

"Kasi umuwi na 'ko ng Philippines after that. So, we went to his house, we went there several times, nagkaroon sila ng mga house parties ganun and then syempre minsan may mga kwentuhan kami, moments moments, ganiyan. 'Yun na 'yun. And then kinailangan ko na umuwi sa Philippines," she said.

Andrea starred in the Kapuso revenge drama "Makiling" with Derrick Monasterio and Elle Villanueva. The series aired its finale in May 2024.
