Jillian Ward to star in her first rom-com series, also working on upcoming movie

Jillian Ward is set to star in a new series following the success of "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap!"

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the Star of the New Gen said that it will mark her first time working on a romantic comedy project.

"Bilang child star, mga roles ko po talaga growing up is more on drama, family drama. Tapos wala po masyadong mga ka-pair or romance sa story. Medyo nag-start lang po nung sa 'Abot-Kamay,' ayan na po, ang daming manliligaw ni Analyn," Jillian said.

Jillian will star alongside Michael Sager, who also appeared in "Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap."

"Medyo naka-help din po 'yun kasi siyempre naka-work ko na po siya, so medyo mas komportable na rin po. Pero ayun na nga, Tito Nelson, kinakabahan pa rin ako kasi hindi ako sanay talaga sa mga kilig-kilig na eksena," Jillian said.

Aside from the series, Jillian also has an upcoming movie, which she teased will surprise her viewers.

"Sa lahat ng characters na nagawa ko, ito 'yung pinaka-challenging. Mostly physical po, pero mentally challenging po siya," she said, adding that the project is really "intense."

Aside from acting, Jillian is also a talented singer. In September, she released her new song, "Be All Mine."

She often shares song covers on social media, including her take on "Weak" and "On the Wings of Love."
