Rhian Ramos earns nomination at Ima Wa Ima Asian International Film Festival 2024

Rhian Ramos is nominated at this year’s Ima Wa Ima Asian International Film Festival and Entertainment Special Awards!

The Kapuso actress is among the nominees for the Best Performance in a Featured Role award for her role in “Pulang Araw.”

She is competing against five actress, namely Son Yong Kuk of South Korea, Adone Kudo of Japan, Tasha Low of Singapore, and Filipino actresses Ynez Veneracion and Ritz Azul.

Aside from Rhian, Sparkle stars Kiray Celis and Kim Ji Soo were also nominated under different categories at the film festival.

The award ceremony will be held on December 1 at the Sumiyoshi Main Hall in Osaka, Japan.

Rhian played the special role of Fina Dela Cruz, the mother of Eduardo (Alden Richards) and Adelina (Barbie Forteza) in the Kapuso historical series, and earned praise for her acting skills.

Pulang Araw” is now airing on GMA Prime and on Netflix Philippines.

Rhian is set to star in a GL (Girl Love) movie with Glaiza De Castro titled “I Fell, It’s Fine.”

She will also play Mitena, Cassiopeia's twin and the main antagonist in the upcoming "Encantadia" spinoff series, "Sang'gre."
