Alden Richards 'grateful beyond words' as 'Hello, Love, Again' becomes highest grossing Filipino film
Alden Richards took to social media to express this gratitude after “Hello, Love, Again” broke records to become the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
On Instagram, Alden posted some behind-the-scenes photos with Kathryn Bernardo and said, “Thank you for making this happen.”
“We are truly grateful beyond words. Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” he added. “To GOD be the glory.”
“Hello, Love, Again” earned P930 million in the worldwide box office just 10 days after its release, surpassing Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera’s “Rewind.”
Earlier, the movie also broke its way to the Top 10 films in the US, ranking eighth. It's the first time a Filipino film has made it on the list.
“Hello, Love, Again” debuted in Philippine cinemas on November 13. It is showing in 1,100 cinemas in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
A report by Deadline earlier said that the film earned $2.4 million at 248 sites in the United States in its opening week.
