'Mga Batang Riles' cast hard at work in more trainings, workshops for action drama series
The cast members of "Mga Batang Riles" are hard at work as they undergo more trainings and workshops for the upcoming action drama series.
In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Miguel Tanfelix shared that his upcoming project requires him to be fit physically and emotionally.
“Every taping day parang lagi kaming merong at least isang mabigat na eksena na nabo-blown away ako ‘pag nababasa ko ‘yung script na grabe, ang ganda naman nitong pagkakasulat na ‘to,” said Miguel, who will play the character of Kidlat.
The Kapuso series is also joined by veteran action stars Ronnie Ricketts, Jeric Raval, and Jay Manalo. The cast also had fight training headed by Ronnie.
“Madalas bakbakan dito eh. May mga eksena na subtle lang naman pero may bubog eh. Laging may hugot,” Kokoy de Santos said.
They also attended a workshop by Sparkle Prime Acting Workshop Head Ana Feleo and her mother, Laurice Guillen, who is one of the directors of the series. In August, the cast also had a workshop with Direk Laurice.
“Mas na-excite ako kasi alam ko kung pa’no ‘yung atake niya eh. So very lucky kasi mas natutunan ko ‘yung character ko,” said Bruce Roeland, who will play the role of Matos.
There was a time when Raheel Bhyria (Sig) and Antonio Vinzon (Dagul) accidentally hurt each other during filming.
“Siyempre hindi natin maiiwasan maaksidente, so ano lang, we learn from it. Sa susunod, hindi na namin gagawin,” Raheel said.
"Mga Batang Riles" dropped its action-packed teaser in October.
The series is directed by Richard Arellano.
