‘Hello, Love, Again’ is now the highest grossing Filipino film of all time

“Hello, Love, Again” just set a new box office record as the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time!

The GMA Pictures and Star Cinema collaboration earned P930 million in worldwide box office just 10 days after its release, surpassing Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera's "Rewind."

Earlier, the Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo-starrer also broke its way to the Top 10 films in the US, ranking eighth. It's the first time a Filipino film has made it on the list.

“Hello, Love, Again” also had a sold out screening at the Asian World Film Festival in California, according to Aubrey Carampel’s report in “Balitanghali" on Friday.

“It’s a huge honor, you know, we’re very grateful for the Asian World Film Festival for the opportunity, being here showcasing Filipino talent and the Filipino material is just so rewarding for us,” Alden said in the report.

“This is a very, very important night for us and for us, Filipinos, as well. Nakaka-proud to be part of something like this,” Kathryn said.

“Hello, Love, Again” debuted in Philippine cinemas on November 13. It is showing in 1,100 cinemas in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

A report by Deadline earlier said that the film earned $2.4 million at 248 sites in the United States in its opening week, setting the record as the biggest opening for a Filipino film in the United States.
